Biographical Information[edit]
Charlie Krause played at least seven seasons in the minors and came to the big leagues for one game on July 27, 1901. He was 27 years old at the time and went 1-for-4 for the Cincinnati Reds under manager Bid McPhee. Charlie played second base, where the Reds used five different players in at least 15 games that year.
It appears that Sporting Life spelled his name "Krouse" in the box score.
