Charlie Hickey is a college coach.
Hickey was an assistant coach at Providence College from 1992-1996, then went 106-41 aas head coach from 1997-1999, setting a school-record 49 games in 1999 before the school eliminated its baseball program.
Charlie then became head coach at Central Connecticut State University and was 663-564-5 after 25 seasons. He set new school records for wins in 2002 (34) and 2004 (41-17-1).
Hickey was an assistant coach for the 1992-1994 Cotuit Kettleers, working with Lou Merloni and Jermaine Allensworth among others.
