Biographical Information

Charlie Berry appeared with three teams during the lone year of the Union Association. It was his only year in the majors. Most of his at-bats were with the Kansas City Cowboys, where he appeared in 29 games, hitting .246 on a team that hit .199. He is the father of Charlie Berry, who had a much longer career. The SABR biography of his son says he became a machinist.
