Biographical Information

Charbel Abboud was signed by Baltimore Orioles scout Luis Blasini. In 2021, he was 1-1 with a 10.80 ERA in 9 games between the DSL Orioles 1 and DSL Orioles 2, walking 17 in 8 1/3 IP and throwing 7 wild pitches. He allowed only one hit while striking out 14 but his wildness was too much of a liability. He was released the next spring. He was on the Palestine team in the 2023 Asian Championship, representing the former British colony that ended in 1948; he did not get into a game.
