Biographical Information[edit]

Catcher Chance Sisco was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 2nd round of the 2013 amateur draft from a high school in Corona, CA. He began his pro career that year with the GCL Orioles and also played for the Aberdeen IronBirds of the New York-Penn League. In 33 games, he hit a scorching .363. In 2014, he was with the Delmarva Shorebirds of the South Atlantic League, where he hit .340/.406/.448 in 114 games, confirming his status as a top-notch prospect.

In 2015, Chance was promoted to the Frederick Keys of the Carolina League to start the year, then earned a mid-season promotion to the Bowie BaySox of the Eastern League. In 95 games, his batting line was .297/.376/.415. He played in the Arizona Fall League after the season, hitting .255 in 16 games. He then spent the bulk of the 2016 season back at Bowie, where he hit .320 with 4 homers and 44 RBIs in 112 games. He was selected to play in the 2016 Futures Game as part of the United States team, then earned a late-season promotion to the AAA Norfolk Tides, hitting .250 in 4 games. In 2017, he began the season at Norfolk and was once again selected to play in the Futures Game, again for the United States.
