Chamberlain-Hunt Academy
Chamberlain-Hunt Academy was a college preparatory school located in Port Gibson, MS. It dated back to Oakland College, founded in 1830, making it one of the oldest schools of its kind in the southern United States; it was closed down briefly during the Civil War before reopening under its new name in 1879. A decision to shut down the school was made in 2014.
