Biographical Information[edit]

High School[edit]

Chad Rebecca played varsity baseball for three years at Prospect High School. In his junior year, Chad batted .333 and 19 RBIs. In his senior year, he hit .392 with 23 RBIs, and was named all-conference and all-area.

Collegiate[edit]

Rebecca first played at Oakton Community College. He hit .303 with 25 RBIs, and stole 16 bases as a freshman. In his sophomore season (2007), Chad hit .342 with 30 RBIs and 4 homers. He was a 2007 Rawlings Gold Glove selection and was named all-conference.

He went on to Stony Brook University. In 2008, Rebecca hit only .191 with 10 RBIs and no home runs. He came back in 2009 to bat .276 with 21 RBIs and 1 homer.

In the summer of 2010, Chad played with the Macon Pinetoppers in the Peach State League. He hit .321 with 13 RBIs and 3 home runs.

Normal CornBelters (Frontier League)[edit]

Rebecca was signed by the Normal CornBelters on July 19, 2010.

Chad got his first start for the CornBelters on July 22 against the River City Rascals. He went 0 for 3. In 24 games for the CornBelters in the 2010 season, Rebecca finished with a .256 average with 3 RBIs and 1 home run.
