Chad Miller was hitting coach and recruiting coordinator at Viterbo University for three years. He also has coached at Sparta High School and Aquinas High School. He became head coach of Viterbo in 2006 and won 88 games from 2007-2009. He has also managed a Northwoods League champion.

Miller moved to Midland University as head coach in 2015.
