Biographical Information

Much like fellow pitcher Jim Abbott, pitcher Chad Bentz was born with a deformed right hand. Unlike Abbott, his major league career was fleeting, seeing action in parts of two seasons with the Montreal Expos and Florida Marlins. Following his baseball days, he briefly played Division III football with Castleton as a running back in 2010 and 2011, scoring two touchdowns. In 2013, he became the baseball team's pitching coach.
