Biographical Information[edit]
Carlos Quezada was on the Mexican national team in the 1948 Amateur World Series. He turned pro in 1952, hitting .219/.265/.250 between the Tuneros de San Luis Potosí and Diablos Rojos del México. In '53, he batted .362/.408/.431 in 37 games for his hometown Algodoneros de Torreon to end his Mexican League career at .311/.358/.367. In 1954, he hit .282/.371/.379 for the Cananea Mineros, fielding .900 at short and stealing 17 bases. He fell to .257/.307/.322 in 1955 for the Mineros and was at .257/.278/.314 in 14 games for them in '56 to end his career.
