Biographical Information

After a decade in the majors, catcher Carlos Hernandez managed the Toros de Tijuana for part of 2004. He was the San Diego Padres bullpen catcher in 2005 and in 2007 was a coach in the team's farm system. In 2011-2012, Hernandez has been a short-season catching coordinator for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
