Biographical information[edit]

Carlos Guzman is a former minor league baseball player who played in the Atlanta Braves organization from 2000 to 2005. He was originally signed by the Braves in 1999.

He began his professional career with the GCL Braves in 2000, with whom he hit .219 in 114 at-bats. For the Jamestown Jammers in 2001, he hit .000 in six at-bats.

Guzman played for the Macon Braves and Danville Braves in 2002, hitting .283 in 51 games with the latter and .100 in seven games with the former. He spent 2003 and 2004 with the Rome Braves, hitting .229 in 314 at-bats and .252 in 329 at-bats in those years, respectively. He played his final season in 2005 with Rome and the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, hitting a combined 176 in 227 at-bats.

Overall, Guzman played six seasons in the minors, hitting .229 in 1,176 at-bats.
