Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Carlo Forni played two years in the New York Yankees chain prior to serving in the Army during World War II. He hit .210 and slugged .244 for the 1940 Idaho Falls Russets, while fielding .903 at shortstop. In 1941, he batted .270 and slugged .306 in 29 games for Idaho Falls and .257 with a .354 slugging in 83 contests for the Wenatchee Chiefs. He fielded .926 at short for Wenatchee.
