Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Cameron Reimers played in the minor leagues from 1999 to 2005. He spent parts of three seasons at Triple-A, but never ascended to the majors.

He was originally taken by the Blue Jays in the 14th round of the 1997 amateur draft, but opted not to sign. He did sign after Toronto took him as a draft-and-follow selection in the 35th round of the 1998 amateur draft. In his first minor league season, 1999, he had a 3.25 ERA, despite a 1-5 record, for the Medicine Hat Blue Jays. With the Hagerstown Suns in 2000, he went 7-11 with a 3.73 ERA in 26 starts, then he went 11-8, 4.79 in 27 games (26 starts) between two clubs in 2001. In his first try at Triple-A in 2002, he went 2-3, 4.99 in 12 games (10 starts) for the Syracuse SkyChiefs; he was 5-9, 5.34 overall. With the Double-A New Haven Ravens in 2003, Reimers went 10-5, 3.08 in 28 games (26 starts) and in 2004, he went 9-11, 3.71 between two teams. He finished his career in 2005, going 6-7 with a 4.57 ERA in 20 games (17 starts).

Overall, Reimers went 49-56 with a 4.09 ERA in 166 games (148 starts). In 920 innings, he allowed 1,026 hits and 216 walks (1.350 WHIP), while striking out 520 batters. At Triple-A, he was 4-10 with a 5.38 ERA in 25 games (23 starts); his WHIP was 1.601.
