Cairo, GA
Cairo is located in southern Georgia, 10 miles west of Thomasville, GA. It is best known as the birthplace of Jackie Robinson, whose family moved to California when he was one year old, although the actual birthplace is on a farm in rural Grady County, GA, 13 miles south of the town.
