CENAPEC

CENAPEC, which stands for APEC Center for Distance Education, is a non-profit distance education center located in Santo Domingo and founded in 1972. APEC stands for Acción Pro-Educación y Cultura, Action for Education and Culture, which is a civil society group working to widen education opportunities in the Dominican Republic and which also runs a private university, UNAPEC, in Santo Domingo.
