Biographical Information[edit]
Byron Browne, Jr., son of journeyman outfielder Byron Browne, was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 13th round (339th overall) of the 1991 amateur draft. He was called up to the parent club from the AA champion El Paso Diablos in 1994 but, due to the strike, never got a chance to play in the big leagues. He was sent back to the minors in 1995 and blew out his arm three years later. He underwent surgeries, but they did not enable him to return to the mound.
Byron started acting in the fall of 1996, appearing in a 1997 episode of "Robin Cook's Invasion". He has since appeared in bit parts and supporting roles, including six appearances on "The Young and the Restless". Byron is a producer & writer of the upcoming movie Thorns from a Rose, in which he also acts.
