Biographical Information[edit]
Butch Huskey was one of a small number of players who were wearing uniform number 42 in honor of Jackie Robinson when Commissioner Bud Selig retired the number across Major League Baseball in Robinson's honor in 1997. Huskey was allowed to continue wearing the number for the rest of his career.
