Pitcher Bud Younger played seven seasons of minor league baseball. He made his pro debut in 1942 and then served several years in the Army during World War II. Following the war, he returned and played several more years. He also coached baseball at Arizona State University in 1951, leading the team to a 7-15 record. After his playing days, he was a longtime teacher and high school coach.
