Biographical Information

Fred "Buff" Ehman played for Akron in the 1906 Ohio-Pennsylvania League.

He was drafted by Cleveland while he belonged to the Akron team. Then the Boston Americans got him after he had been turned back to Akron by Cleveland. In 1909, the Red Sox, under Fred Lake, sent him to Sacramento in the California League.

"Buff" started on the old Canton Marines. He went from there to Akron, then to Wheeling, back to Akron, then to Cleveland, back to Akron once more and then to Boston. He was farmed to Sacramento in 1909.
