Biographical Information

Bubba Watson is a professional golfer who joined the PGA Tour in 2006. He has two wins in the tour's major tournaments, the Masters Tournament, in 2012 and 2014. In 2015, he was ranked the second top golfer in the world.

Watson was born in the Florida panhandle and in 2015 became a minority owner of the minor league Pensacola Blue Wahoos. He explained that he became involved in baseball in memory of his late father, Gerry, Sr., who passed away in 2010 and was an avid New York Yankees fan.
