Biographical Information[edit]
Bryce Wheary played college ball at the schools noted above and graduated from the College of Saint Elizabeth in 2020 with a degree in criminal justice and corrections. He quickly moved into coaching and joined the Lackawanna College Falcons as an assistant coach in the fall of 2020. However, he only remained there until February 2021.
At that time the New York Mets hired Wheary as a Player Development Associate. He spent the 2021 season working as a video coordinator for the Brooklyn Cyclones. In 2022 he moved into more of a coaching role as Development Coach with the St. Lucie Mets. He was then hitting coach of the DSL Mets 2 in 2023 and FCL Mets in 2024.
