Biographical Information

Bryan Manicchia pitched in the minor leagues from 1990 to 1992. With the Princeton Patriots in 1990, he went 2-1 with a 2.16 ERA in 22 relief appearances, saving 8 games and striking out 46 in 50 innings of work. Between the Batavia Clippers and Spartanburg Phillies in 1991, he went 2-3, 2.71 with 11 saves in 45 appearances. To wrap up his career, he went 2-1, 5.66 in 25 games (1 start) for Spartanburg in 1992. Overall, Manicchia went 6-5 with 19 saves and a 3.34 ERA in 92 games. In 185 2/3 innings, he allowed 158 hits and 69 walks (1.223 WHIP), while striking out 149 batters.
