Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Bryan Bass hit .188 for the US when they finished second in the 2000 World Junior Championship; he was their starting shortstop. He was selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the supplemental first round of the 2001 amateur draft and played seven years in their organization, reaching the AA level in his final two seasons. After not playing pro ball in 2008, he appeared in 1 game for the Tucson Toros of the independent Golden Baseball League in 2009.
