Bruce Dudley

Bruce Dudley was the GM (and later president) of the Louisville Colonels from 1938 until 1948. He then served as president of the American Association from 1949 to 1953. Dudley was the Minor League Executive of the Year in 1939 and 1945.

Dudley began his career as a writer for the Louisville Herald in 1912 and became its sports editor in 1918. He moved to the Louisville Courier-Journal from 1923 to 1938 as its sports editor.
