Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Brooks Baldwin was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 12th round of the 2022 amateur draft, out of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, one year after the San Francisco Giants had taken him in the 15th round in 2021.
His father, Chuck Baldwin, played in the minor leagues. He is also the nephew of Mark Scalf, the long-time baseball coach at UNC-Wilmington.
