Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Brock Rumfield played in the Baltimore Orioles system in 1998 and 1999. He slashed .225/.304/.299 with 7 home runs, 81 RBI and 6 stolen bases in 173 games. He never played above Single A.

He was drafted twice. Initially, he was taken by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 21st round of the 1994 amateur draft, a few picks ahead of pitcher Lance Carter. Then he was taken by the Dodgers in the 55th round of the 1995 amateur draft, a few picks after pitcher Mark Mulder. He signed neither time.
