Brittany Chan debuted for Canada in the 2012 Women's Baseball World Cup. She pitched two games, allowing one hit, three walks, three hit batters and three runs (two earned) while striking out one in two innings. Replacing Tara Sliwkanich in a game against the Netherlands, she gave up two runs before being succeeded by Britney McLaren. Against Cuba, she gave up one unearned run to end up a win over Cuba, relieving Heidi Northcott. When Ryerson University began a baseball program in 2013, she was part of the tryouts with a chance to make the team.
