Brian Michalak

Biographical Information[edit]
Brian Michalak has been a college coach.
A utility infielder, Michalak was on the St. Francis team that finished second in the 1983 NAIA College World Series. He was assistant coach at Lewis University from 1993-2002, also guiding the women's basketball team in that time. He was 88-114-2 as head coach of North Central College from 2003-2007. He then returned to his alma mater as assistant coach to Gordie Gillespie from 2008-2011. In 2012, he became head coach, going 40-17 his first season.
Brian's father, Leo, became an assistant on Brian's staff in 2016.
