Biographical Information

Catcher Brian Loyd competed for the United States at the 1996 Olympics. He was selected by the San Diego Padres in the fifth round of that year's amateur draft. In 1998, he was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays for Randy Myers, but Loyd never reached the major leagues.
