Biographical Information[edit]
On June 30, 2000, Brian Cooper pitched a three-hit shutout for the Anaheim Angels against the Oakland Athletics. It would prove the highlight of his big league career, 42 games (26 starts) over parts of six seasons with three teams. In fact, the shutout was his penultimate big league victory, winning his final game in a start against the San Diego Padres less than one month later.
Following his playing days, he was briefly a pitching coach for the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes (2009 to 2010) and San Jose Giants (2011).
