Biographical Information[edit]

Brian Broderick was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 21st round of the 2007 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Aaron Krawiec and made his pro debut that summer. Brian was taken by the Washington Nationals in the 2010 Rule V Draft. He struggled in 11 big league appearances early in the 2011 season, with an 0-1, 6.57 mark and 3/4 BB/K ratio in 12 1/3 innings. Washington returned him to the Cardinals in May and he was unable to claw his way back to the bigs.
