Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Brendon Davis was originally drafted in the 5th round of the 2015 amateur draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers and was signed by scout Bobby Darwin. He then changed organizations a number of times. On July 31, 2017, he was traded to the Texas Rangers with A.J. Alexy and Willie Calhoun for Yu Darvish. On December 10, 2020, he was selected by the Los Angeles Angels in the minor league portion of the 2020 Rule V Draft, then on May 20, 2022, was claimed off waivers by the Detroit Tigers. He made his major league debut with the Tigers on October 1st that year.
