Bremen Dockers

In 1999, the Bremen Dockers played their first season in the 1st Baseball Bundesliga. They were 4-24-1; hometown player Alexander Pfennigstorf was their top hitter at .300/.451/.400 while workhorse Torsten Oelze (3-14, 7.41) had their lone ERA under 10. They were then relegated back to the 2nd Bundesliga. In 2000 they moved into the new stadium at Henschenbusch. After more than 10 years in the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga, Bremen were relegated to the Lower Saxony Association League after the 2005 season. In 2008, the team finished the season in second place in the North-West Regional League and was promoted as a replacement. In the 2009 season, the team managed to stay up.

In 2010, the team only managed to win 2 games and were relegated. In 2011, the team achieved a good 4th place in the Regionalliga Nord-Ost. In the season, the Dockers played an outstanding season in the regional league with the new coach Kyle Lewis and secured the championship title and promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga North. The Bremen Dockers have been playing in the 2nd Baseball Bundesliga since 2014, except for 2019.

In 2019, the Dockers were promoted and played in the Bundesliga-1. Yannick Bujalla hit .354/.479/.436 to pace the offense and Alberto Orti (1-2, 7.68) was their top hurler. They were then relegated and have since stayed in the 2nd tier of the Bundesliga.
