Biographical Information

Brandon Oliver converted to catcher while playing college ball and developed catching into a career. After college he played professionally in 2017 for the Lake Erie Crushers of the Frontier League and the East Side Diamond Hoppers in the United Shore League. He then turned to private tutoring and other ways to make a living before founding Catching Coalition in late 2019.

His work with catchers apparently caught the eye of the New York Yankees because they hired him as a defensive coach for the FCL Yankees in 2022.
