Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Brady Lail began his professional career in 2012 when he was taken by the New York Yankees in the 18th round of the 2012 amateur draft. He started with a 1.42 ERA in 12 2/3 innings his first season, and followed that with a 5-1 record and a 2.92 ERA in 61 2/3 innings in 2013. He had his first double-digit victory season in 2014, going 11-5, and in 2015, he was 10-6. He reached Triple A for the first time that year. He was a Mid-Season All-Star in 2014 and 2015. Going into 2016, he was ranked the #19 prospect in the Yankees system by Baseball America.

Lail moved to the coaching ranks in the Philadelphia Phillies' chain as pitching development coach of the Jersey Shore BlueClaws in 2023.
