Biographical Information

Bradley Merritt has pitched in the Czech Extraliga.

Merritt was 7-6 with a 4.88 ERA for the 2012 Eagles Prague, with 57 walks and 74 strikeouts in 96 innings. He was 5th in the Extraliga in wins, tied Jakub Černík for 5th in losses, led in walks, was 5th in strikeouts (between Marek Červenka and Petr Minařík) and tied Pat Ahearne for 8th in hit batsmen (10). He lost a 1-0 duel to Minařík in the last game of the finals, giving up a Tom Brice homer. He went 0-2 with a save and a 14.74 ERA for the 2013 European Cup, walking 7 and allowing 12 hits in 8 2/3 IP. He lost a start to T&A San Marino (7 R in 6 IP), saved a 5-3 win for Tomas Duffek over the Regensburg Legionäre and lost to the L&D Amsterdam Pirates (7 R in 1 1/3 IP). Only Patrick Lawson had more losses, hits allowed or runs allowed in that Cup.
