Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Brad Beanblossom was a middle infielder who played in the St. Louis Cardinals organization from 1990-1992, briefly reaching AAA in his final season. He was drafted by the Cardinals in the 15th round of the 1990 amateur draft.

Prior to his professional career, he played collegiately at Oklahoma State University, appearing in the College World Series in 1987 and 1990. Oklahoma State lost the final game both years, and Brad made the all-tournament team both years as well, as a second baseman in 1987 and as a shortstop in 1990. He was also a member of the USA College National Team during that time.

After baseball, he went into sales, rising to the position of Corporate Sales Director and National Account Management Leader for Franklin Sports, a sporting goods company specializing in team-licensed products based in his hometown of Louisville, KY. He had previously worked for another prominent company in Louisville, Louisville Slugger, manufacturer of baseball bats.
