United States university national baseball team

The United States college team won three of the first four World University Championships. The team has featured numerous future major leaguers. Prior to 1998, Team USA was almost always interchangeable with the US college team as professionals were not allowed in international competitions. Even since the rule change, the US college team has played in some major events like the 2003 Pan American Games and 2007 Pan American Games and minor events like the Haarlem Baseball Week and World Port Tournament.
