Biographical Information

Boyd Perry was at Guilford College at the same time as Stu Martin. It took him a number of years to get to the majors, which he did in 1941 at age 27. A middle infielder, he played behind Frank Croucher at shortstop and the 38-year-old Charlie Gehringer at second base.
