Bowmanville, ON
Bowmanville is located in southern Ontario, near Lake Ontario, 5 miles east of Oshawa, ON. In sporting terms, it is best known as the home of the Mosport Racetrack, which hosted a number of editions of the Canadian Formula One Grand Prix between 1967 and 1975. It is the home of historian William Humber, who has also authored a history of the town in addition to his baseball books.
