Biographical Information[edit]
A person named Booth played one game at shortstop for the New Haven Elm Citys of the National Association on May 1, 1875. He went 0 for 2 with a strikeout and committed an error in 2 chances in 4 innings in the field. Nothing else is known about this man, but two persons named Booth, Amos Booth and one Edward Booth, were players around that time. It could possibly be one of these two men, or someone else altogether who made this one-off appearance for New Haven.
