Booker T. Washington High School (Dallas)
The Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts was founded in 1892 as the "Dallas Colored High School", the only high school in Dallas, TX open to black students. Known simply as "Booker T. Washington High School" for most of its existence, it became a magnet school for arts education after desegregation. Ernie Banks and Bill Blair went here.
