Biographical Information

Bong-gyo Kong played for South Korea in the 1989 Asian Championship and 1989 Intercontinental Cup. The Ssangbangwool Raiders selected him in the first round of the 1990 KBO draft, and he hit .221/.325/.308 in 48 games in 1991. He stayed in the minors for the entire 1992 season, then the Raiders released him.
