Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Bob Wren played for the Toledo Mud Hens from 1943 to 1947, never making the majors with the parent St. Louis Browns. Wren was then the head coach at Ohio University from 1949 to 1972, posting a 464-160-4 record. He led his alma mater to the College World Series in 1970. Wren then managed the Pulaski Phillies.
The field at OU is named Bob Wren Stadium in his honor.
