Biographical Information[edit]
Bob Pettit played three seasons in the majors, most notably in 1887 when he appeared in right field more than any other player on the 1887 Chicago White Stockings and 1888 when he and rookie Hugh Duffy were the most-used right fielders. He was also a part of the 1891 Brewers as the American Association finished its run.
During his minor league career (between 1886 and 1897) he played mostly in the Northeast.
