Biographical Information[edit]
Bob MacKinnon, best known as an NBA executive and coach, also was a minor league player and college coach.
MacKinnon played in the Brooklyn Dodgers organization from 1950 to 1951. He hit .274/.364/.316 in 65 games for the 1950 Trois-Rivieres Royals, fielding .880 at third base. In 1951, he batted .233 and slugged .295 for the Billings Mustangs.
He coached baseball at Canisius College from 1954 to 1959, going 52-33 in six seasons.
