Biographical Information[edit]

After playing baseball in college as a pitcher, Bob MacDonald became a teacher and coach at Cleveland High School for seven years. He was then an assistant coach at Washington State University from 1974-1976.

MacDonald was the head coach at University of Washington from 1977 to 1992, coaching Mike Blowers and Kevin Stocker among others. He then moved to the United States Naval Academy as an assistant coach in 1993 and head coach from 1994 to 2000.

MacDonald was a coach for the 2009 Everett Aqua Sox.
