Robert G. Jones
Bob Jones was an umpire in the Big 8 Conference and worked the 1988 College World Series, 1989 College World Series and 1996 College World Series. Like Terry Bovey, he was a replacement umpire in the majors in three decades, working in the American League in 1979 and 1984 (one game of the 1984 ALCS) and in the National League in 1995.
