Bob Gamble pitched one game in the majors in 1888, and had a minor league career that lasted several seasons. In 1890 he was 16-5 for Harrisburg.
After baseball, he became a railroad baggage master in Philadelphia, PA. He died in a Mennonite home in West Rockhill Township, PA in 1958, aged 92.
